The purpose of this book is to provide a handy reference work for those who serve as members of local zoning boards of appeal. It is written to assist local commissioners, not trained in the law, to perform the duties and discharge the responsibilities imposed upon them by the General Statutes of Connecticut. In order to reach this goal, we have divided the legal concepts of zoning into fifteen chapters, each dealing with a distinct topic.
